The site comprised a brownfield site of 14.95 acres located in a prime residential area of Cardiff with outline planning permission for residential development.
Prior to marketing a full technical pack was prepared to include ground report, asbestos survey, report on services and site survey.
The site was offered for sale by informal tender and generated strong interest from all regional and national builders.
This was the largest site of its size and location to be offered for sale in the Cardiff market for a number of years. The sale was concluded to Barratt Homes and set the record for the price achieved for a residential land sale in the Cardiff area.
